Jack Simonson was formerly a postdoc with Professor Aronson and is now an assistant professor of physics at nearby Farmingdale State College. He continues to enjoy a close relationship with the group. Jack's research interests center on the synthesis and characterization high quality single crystals of functional materials, including magnetic materials, superconductors, thermoelectrics, and refractory compounds.
