Claire Weaver is completing her B.S. in Physics and Mathematics at Hofstra University, where she is the president of the Students of Physics Society. She plans to continue her education in grad school with a focus on Condensed Matter Physics. Additionally, Claire is passionate about advocating for women and minorities in the sciences and hopes to support this community as she progresses through her career as a physicist. She would like to acknowledge all of her mentors at Hofstra, Stony Brook, and BNL for their support and looks forward to a time when she can mentor the next generation of physicists. In her spare time, Claire is an accomplished flying trapeze artist and wakeboarder with a love for the outdoors and traveling.
